Hola amigos feliz tarde a todos espero estén super bien , hace mucho que no pasaba por acá Pero es que han sido semanas fuertes de mucho ajetreo Pero aquí estamos de vuelta como siempre les digo me voy Pero regreso jajjaa bueno paso por aquí a contarles una nueva aventura que estoy sumando a mi vida pues después de tantas cosas he decidido vivir y disfrutar al maximo sobretodo conectar con la naturaleza, la semana pasada era el cumpleaños de mi mejor amiga y ella quería de regalo hacer senderismo pero específicamente a la ruta de la Mariposa azul , por supuesto que le dije que si este tipo de actividades siempre debemos hacerla de la mano de profesionales sobretodo si somos principiantes como lo somos nosotras, escogimos a senderos margarita para que nos guiará a esta nueva experiencia y la verdad fue un total acierto, les cuento que el está ruta tuvo un costo de 15$ contábamos con transporte y por supuesto con un equipo de guías y paramédicos que fue un 10/10
Hi friends! Happy afternoon to everyone—I hope you’re doing great. It’s been a while since I stopped by here; it’s been a hectic few weeks, but I’m back. As I always say: I leave, but I come back, haha! Anyway, I’m dropping by to share a new adventure I’m adding to my life. After everything, I’ve decided to live and enjoy life to the fullest—and above all, to connect with nature. Last week was my best friend’s birthday, and for her gift, she wanted to go hiking—specifically on the "Blue Butterfly" trail. Of course, I said yes. These kinds of activities should always be done with professionals, especially when you're a beginner like us. We chose Senderos Margarita to guide us through this new experience, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. The hike cost $15 and included transportation, as well as a team of guides and paramedics—they were a solid 10/10.
La salida era en farmatodo a las 7:15 am lo que significaba que debía levantarme a las 5:00 am para poder estar puntual les cuento que estoy siempre es un poco difícil para mí levantarme tan temprano Pero por vivir la experiencia valía la pena, cuando llegamos los guías nos explicaron el proceso y nos preguntaron varias cosas sobre si teníamos alergias o alguna condición médica también nos preguntaron si habíamos comido todo esto era muy importante ya que el camino era bastante rudo .
We were scheduled to depart from Farmatodo at 7:15 a.m., which meant I had to get up at 5:00 a.m. to be on time. I have to admit that getting up that early is always a bit of a struggle for me, but the experience made it worth it. When we arrived, the guides explained the process and asked us several questions—such as whether we had any allergies or medical conditions, and if we had eaten—all of which was very important given how rugged the trail was.
Era aproximadamente una hora de ruta para llegar al mirador y exactamente eso duramos luego era otros 20 Min para llegar al área donde se encuentran las mariposas azules que con suerte la podríamos ver , pasamos por varios lugares donde abundaba frutas como mango , mamey , cacao , coco , estoy segura que había más pero estas son las que yo más recuerdo, vimos muchos cangrejos y eso sí al comenzar el recorrido los guías y los protecciones del parque dejaron súper claro que no se debía tocar ninguna planta ni animales solamente observar ya que somos nosotros los que estábamos invadiendo su espacio y su hogar .
The journey to the viewpoint took about an hour—exactly that long—and then it was another 20 minutes to reach the area where the blue butterflies are found (which we might be lucky enough to see). We passed through various places abundant in fruits like mango, mamey, cacao, and coconut—I’m sure there were others, but those are the ones I remember best. We saw many crabs; notably, at the start of the tour, the guides and park rangers made it very clear that we were not to touch any plants or animals—only observe—since we were the ones invading their space and their home.
Después de mucho caminar y escalar y luchar 😅 al fin llegamos a la posa donde se encontraban las mariposas pero la posa estaba algo seca y no pudimos bañarnos como queríamos , al estar seca las mariposas no abundan en el lugar Pero tuvimos suerte de logra ver 4 aunque no logramos tomarles ninguna foto les aseguro que eran súper hermosas con un color vibrante .
After a lot of walking, climbing, and struggling 😅, we finally reached the pool where the butterflies were found; however, the water level was quite low, so we couldn't swim as we had hoped. Because it was so dry, butterflies weren't plentiful, but we were lucky enough to spot four. Although we didn't manage to take any photos, I can assure you they were incredibly beautiful and vibrantly colored.
Confieso que me queje mucho en el camino 😅 ya que no estoy acostumbrada a este tipo de actividades Pero conocí muchas personas agradables y también compartí algún nuevo con mi mejor amiga , sin duda alguna seguiremos haciendo senderismo aunque ahora solo somos principiantes se que vamos a mejorar.
I admit I complained a lot along the way 😅, since I’m not used to this kind of activity, but I met a lot of nice people and shared a new experience with my best friend. We’ll definitely keep hiking; even though we’re just beginners right now, I know we’ll improve.
