That elatious orb
original poetryIn a certain sense, extraneous all the symbols
Erudite, refined, profane, pristine.
.
Simplicity eludes the mind of men
Who set themselves at odds.
Return to that primordial keep,
The heart blossoming with joy
Which offers rest and peace.
In a certain space, inclusive all the noise
Cacophonous, harmonious, discordant, euphonic.
.
Silence flees the whirling wheel
Yet flies towards to heal.
Return to that perfected house,
The nexus of wondrous grace:
Which swells within as we begin
Surrend'ring to its face.
In a certain age, o'erlapping all the paths
Vivacious, restrained, constructive, enflamed.
.
Rest lay lurking 'round the bend
Awaiting eyes' expanse to send.
Return to that elatious orb,
Which aggregates the whole:
The magic of a flow'ring heart
Which sets aflame the soul.
