.
Coursing rain
That directs the
Movement of a
Cloud metropolis
.
The flooding of the generator
Of my heart oscillations
With the crude facets
Of moisture glinting
In the subdued atmosphere
Of the mountain city.
.
Most rivulets bide,
Awaiting their inevitable
Evaporation, perched precarious
On a narrow ledge to celebrate
Their dissolution into ephemeral
Streams on glass pummeled by artisans.
.
The city turns amorous towards its own reflection.
.
The people snuggle into the belly of metal and glass,
.
They sleep while the rain whips the engine forth.

.Reins
.
I am witness to the captain,
The faithful aide, through lethargy,
The somnolence of brisk nether-hours of morn,
And frank uncertainty. For many before us
Have perished due to lack of wisdom,
Starved, due to lack of fortune.
.
Still, on we plow, and our beloved master
Flinches not in the winding passage.
He sleeps not, though we servile
Rotate according to our
Nebulous ability,
Fragile with
Mortality.
.
Febrile with compulsion,
Exuberant in our infancy.
The vessel is fortified
By the rapid decline
Of limitation's
Vibrance.
.
Our teacher reigns
In humility of fluctuation
Through tendrilled dimensions.
.
The captain roars
With the silence of dreams
& desire to steer the crumbling bark.
