Have you ever planned for the future? Do you have enough money? Do you run out of cash by the last week of the month?

Some tips I found might be useful to wise money management.

  1. Write down your daily spending. You may use an Excel file to tabulate with rows for the dates in the month and columns for categories of spending i.e food, entertainment, shopping, groceries, grooming and miscellaneous.

  2. Add one column for savings. Try to save 10% of your income every month. If you can't do it yet, start with a smaller amount and gradually monitor your spending till you reach 10% and gradually increase.

  3. If you still can't do it, then you better think how you can make more money. (Steemit is very useful)

  4. Have a separate bank account for your savings, without an ATM card so it's harder to withdraw. Better still, accumulate it and open a fixed deposit or find out how you can invest in long term investments i.e stock market or slowly accumulate as funds to buy property.
