Hello today I am going to present to you a series of photos of a flock of non-migratory birds. I think there are over 1,500 birds. I had fun counting the number of birds on a fraction of the image and multiplying it by the divisible number in the photo. Apart from migratory birds or crows, it is rare to see so many birds of the same species gathered in the same place.
Imagine the good old film “The Birds of Alfred Hitchcock” and well it was a bit like that lol. I was surprised by how stealthy this group was. Overall, he was able to move in groups without separating. Without a leader to lead the dance. Sometimes the ball would break and come together very quickly. I took the opportunity to take a few photos. It's been raining every day for more than 4 months and that's why you won't have good light to make my photos better quality. But the photos are still good.
In this photo you can see a divergence between two ends of the swarm and contrary to what one might think, the darkest part will follow the right part which is more extensive
Following this, they attempted to land on the ground and ultimately leave again. I couldn't really say what kind of bird it was. He was still quite far away. My 24 - 85 lens couldn't get any closer.
In this photo we see the birds popping along their route, perhaps in search of food. I think they were starlings. Without really being sure. With climate change, its birds have become sedentary. Before we didn't see them now we see them all year round.
A little photo of the light we have at the moment. At 3:00 p.m. it seems like 8:00 p.m. Lol.
The positive point: 4 months of rain have already filled the water tables which were empty following the last drought. This will definitely satisfy them well. The negative point is that we live with a real lack of light and many people are depressed by the lack of light. The land has difficulty absorbing water and rivers have difficulty overflowing their banks. Some regions of the country are starting to flood. The solution is to live high up but not too high hahahaha.
