Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

There may be kittens, but it is MY blog, after all!

We have arrived at another weekend, and that means another Caturday filled with cat and kitten pictures!

My two new housemates are continuing to settle in quite well and there is lots of playtime and romp is going on throughout the house.

It seems like Shangri and Nala have already been with us for much longer than just 10 days.

And it also feels like they have grown, in just that short time. Must be all the good food!

They are getting increasingly bold and interested in their surroundings, even though they still have a bit of their nervousness still going on when they see sudden movements or people entering the room when they weren't expecting it.

The Hoomans seem to think that it's going to take them a month or more to fully settle in and be a relaxed part of the family.

They do have a lot of energy, and according to the Hoomans they're eating an enormous amount of food!

I suppose that's normal with young creatures, but they should be careful with that because in my old age I have become a somewhat "solid" cat. Not fat, just stocky!

Sitting pretty

We cats spent a lot of time being separated in the "cat safe room" today, because the Hoomans were doing some plumbing repairs and they didn't figure they wanted cat help. I can't imagine why?

I didn't mind too much, as I really don't care for getting wet!

Smudge

The youngsters still haven't had a chance to be in the room with Smudge, but they have sniffed and touched noses through a baby gate the Hoomans put up.

Well, we are making it a somewhat short Caturday post this week... but there will be lots more kitten content to come!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
