I slept late last night because I had to do a task for my job and I don't think I'll have enough time to delay. So I decided to sacrifice a good sleep to ensure that it wouldn't stress me in the morning after that. It worked! But then I had to wake up early because I didn't want to be late going to work. And that's how I got to shoot this photo.
This is a view along a street I pass by going to work. The sun isn't up yet and the sky has a deep blue hue.
This is the kind of time that I prefer to walk the street. There's a bit of sunlight but it isn't too warm yet. The weather felt like were going back to the summer season because of the warm and humid weather. Nowadays, walking the streets at noon is the most uncomfortable thing to do in the city. I could only enjoy the outdoors during the early morning like the above or in the late afternoon.
I deprived myself of a good sleep today and clearly, that's not a good thing to do. Because of this, my reaction time is much slower than usual and I find it difficult to focus. This is the kind of feeling that I don't like. It makes me feel frustrated about my day and I didn't have a good time either.
A lesson that I learned from this experience is that extending beyond our limits will have a consequence that will prevent me from actually completing my task for a specific goal and result in a setback. Lastly, it's not wrong to set our well-being to be the priority over something that we can work out with enough time on hand.
