Things are moving faster than expected. I didn't expect that our cucumbers will bear some fruits as early as now. The good thing is that all of the 6 plants are showing signs of healthy growth.
Today, I'm amazed to see that we have grown a good size cucumber that is almost ready for picking.
Each of these new flowers will bear fruit.
I just really hope that it will not be infested by insects and get ahead of us before we harvest the first batch of cucumbers. We already had bugs on some of the cabbages which is a disappointment since we are not using any chemical-based pesticides on them. I don't want to use any harsh chemical pesticides on these cucumbers because we prefer to grow them organically.
We are still lucky that our cucumber plants aren't infested by bugs yet. Normally, this is the stage of its growth when bugs liked to munch on the stems before they get harden.
For now, we'll stay on the watch until the plants are fully matured and will require less attention.
Expect that there will be more updates soon!
