Drawing Chibi for 249 "Lottie"
First, I sought assistance from Gemini to generate the initial Chibi-style outlines. I then imported these outlines into IbisPaintX and, on a new layer, drew the Chibi-style outlines for "Lottie." Once finished, I checked whether the lines were properly connected to one another; where they were not, I adjusted the drawing to ensure they connected.
Secondly, I selected base colors for each individual part and applied the paint. After finishing the base coloring, I added a new layer to paint the hair shades. My approach involved selecting a shade color and applying it, then using an eraser to refine the edges. Next, I paint the light reflecting onto the body. My method involves using the Magic Wand tool to select the area. I then use an airbrush pen with white paint to highlight the edges where the light hits. To do this, it is necessary to first draw the light sourcethe path of the incoming lightin the background; this makes it possible to accurately estimate where the light should fall on the subject.
Third, I painted the background colors and the shadows on the ground. Then, I added the card frame and the text. In the end, I had a cute, Chibi-style "Lottie."
