Blockchain-based games are one of my passions and particularly so are **Hive games** because **Hive** is my favorite blockchain project. The number of playable Hive games is steadily increasing and this is a very positive thing. Then I focused on the game, tried to pass as many levels as possible, and played a total of **three games** during which I took some screenshots. The **first level** was fairly easy to complete. The astronaut is the first enemy I encountered that required many attack shots to destroy. If you have difficulty with this enemy you can follow **two alternative strategies**: - the astronaut jumps instead of walking and **you can hit him as he jumps toward you while you pass in the opposite direction under him** ;) - **attack the astronaut from below when he moves up the platform and run away when he chases you** and then return to attack him when he moves back up the platform. I really enjoyed playing Quest for Stoke and also stepped back in time and my memories when pixel style platform games were a passion of mine. With only three games I couldn't reach the end of the game but I will try again in the next few days when and if I have some free time. **My experience playing Quest for Stoke is clearly positive:** - I had a lot of fun playing the game - I like the game theme, and I also liked the music choices for the various levels of play - the difficulty level of the game is calibrated well and grows gradually. Quest for Stoke is a young game and in my opinion there are **aspects that should be improved** before launch: - **the choice of the Shift key as the attack key is not a very functional choice**. In some versions of Windows, pressing the Shift key five times consecutively brings up a dialog box to activate the permanent keys. This dialog actually prevents the player from playing because while closing the dialog the enemy in the game can attack the staker boy. To play Quest for Stoke I had to go into the **Windows settings** related to **Accessibility** and turn off "Enable permanent keys". ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/libertycrypto27/243WrxX5oTqN8HRhCSQym3ydURmv5WnCV43gXwGzcp4cs56oCFEirBbLZaFDQL2qnCqEy.png) - I would like to see a **game level indicator** added in the future. This indicator would help players know what level they are in and also to compare each other's game progress. - Having in the future **the ability to configure game keys** would be a useful addition that would enhance the player's gaming experience. There is no game like Quest for Stoke on Hive, and when the integration with Hive will be implemented **Quest for Stoke could be the first Hive-based platform game**. I will gladly follow the Quest for Stoke project and when there is integration with Hive I will just as gladly add it to the list of Hive Games I play and have invested in. Poi mi sono focalizzato sul gioco, ho cercato di superare il maggior numero di livelli e ho giocato un totale di **tre partite** durante le quali ho fatto alcuni screenshots. Il **primo livello** è stato abbastanza semplice da completare. L'astronauta è il primo nemico che ho incontrato che ha richiesto molti colpi di attacco per essere distrutto. Se hai difficoltà con questo nemico puoi seguire **due strategie** alternative: - **attacchi l'astronauta dal basso quando sale sulla piattaforma e scappi via quando ti insegue** per poi ritornare ad attaccarlo quando risale sulla piattaforma. Quando sei sotto la piattaforma sei protetto perchè l'astronauta non può colpirti mentre tu puoi colpirlo se è vicino a te ;) - l'astronauta salta invece che camminare e **puoi colpirlo mentre salta verso di te nel mentre tu passi in direzione opposta sotto di lui** ;) ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/libertycrypto27/23tRzaci1fnU1TTFTCp8sU9Xe92sHsaaQxFUcYDU1d9RzPWc7AHmEQ1Z24vR9dHobPRy2.png) Nel **livello successivo** incontrerai delle **mostruose farfalle** e devi stare attento a non cadere sulle **lame appuntite** disseminate lungo il livello che ti faranno perdere un'intera vita. ![level8_4.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/libertycrypto27/23tm9YbNUT2heMwdmP2a4NfpPWYpTgN5nyuqHaYud5rgnpjjQDSWsEros6bgHFTb7yRqP.jpg) Il **livello successivo** incomincia a presentare più difficoltà e lo sviluppatore ha messo anche un **trabocchetto**. Mi sono davvero divertito a giocare a Quest for Stoke e ho fatto anche un passo indietro nel tempo e nei miei ricordi quando i platform game pixel style erano una mia passione. Con sole tre partite non sono riuscito ad arrivare alla fine del gioco ma ci riproverò nei prossimi giorni quando e se avrò un pò di tempo libero. **La mia esperienza di gioco su Quest for Stoke è nettamente positiva:** - mi sono divertito molto a giocare - mi piace il tema di gioco e mi sono piaciute anche le scelte musicali per i vari livelli di gioco - il livello di difficoltà del gioco è calibrato bene e cresce in modo graduale. Quest for Stoke è un gioco giovane e secondo me se ci sono degli **aspetti che andrebbero migliorati** prima del lancio: - **la scelta del tasto Shift come tasto di attacco non è una scelta molto funzionale**. In alcune versioni di Windows premere cinque volte consecutivamente il tasto Shift fa comparire una finestra di dialogo per attivare i tasti permanenti. Questa finestra di dialogo impedisce al giocatore di giocare che deve prima andare nelle **impostazioni di Windows** relative all'**Accessibilità** e disattivare "Attiva tasti permanenti" come ho fatto io. ![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/libertycrypto27/243WrxX5oTqN8HRhCSQym3ydURmv5WnCV43gXwGzcp4cs56oCFEirBbLZaFDQL2qnCqEy.png) - mi piacerebbe che in futuro fosse aggiunta l'**indicazione del livello di gioco**. Questo indicatore aiuterebbe i giocatori a capire in quale livello si trovano e anche a confrontarsi tra di loro sui progressi di gioco. - Avere in futuro **la possibilità di configurare i tasti di gioco** sarebbe una utile aggiunta che migliorerebbe l'esperienza di gioco del giocatore. Su Hive non c'è un gioco come Quest for Stoke e quando sarà implementata l'integrazione con Hive **Quest for Stoke potrebbe essere il primo platform game Hive-based**. Seguirò con piacere il progetto Quest for Stoke e quando ci sarà l'integrazione con Hive lo aggiungerò con altrettanto piacere alla lista degli Hive Games su cui gioco e su cui ho investito.
