Yesterday was our third day in Osaka, and we ate pretty well.

In the morning, we cooked instant noodles at the B&B. Nothing special. We cut up some cabbage and cooked it in the soup. The last step was putting a raw egg and cooking it just a little so the yolk was soft

Lunch was out of this world. We went to a department store and everyone walked around. Then we went to the basement and found an awesome restaurant. It specialized in Kobe beef. The appetizers was gizzard kimchi.

Next, potato wedges.

We had to try the Kobe beef sushi. It’s very raw, but tender and delish. Only my son and i tried it. Due to the cost, we only had one each.

Even though there were 7 of us, we chose 2 dishes. This one was beef fried rice.

This was the one that i ordered. It’s beef fried noodles. It was incredibly salty, but it came with white rice. So i imagine, the noodles were to be eaten with noodles, but that really too much for me.

We also had edamane and salad.

Needless to say, we were stuffed.

We were at pretty worn out from our second day trip to Nara, so we decided to eat in.

We stopped at a local grocery store and went crazy.

Okay. So we had takoyaki (octopus balls), tofu skin sushi, regular sushi roll, wild grain sushi, tuna and salmon sushi, assorted sushi, sashimi, noodles, and chicken balls.

It was so much cheaper than our lunch and we couldn’t finish everything.
