Since the creation of Bitcoin, the media hasn't stopped to "predict" the death of Bitcoin.
Yep, yep, so far Bitcoin was supposed to die/died about 130 times. There's actually a website collecting all those death predictions called 'Bitcoin Obituaries'. It has even an archive function, where you can look up the Bitcoin 'orbituaries' sorted by year, starting from 2010, right after Bitcoin was created (2009) and also some stats, with the 'oldest death' and 'most recent death' and the actual orbituary count which is by the time of writing this post at '130 times (and counting...)'.
But...maybe there's some truth to it that Bitcoin is dying or going to die?
You decide for yourself, but here are some facts:
Strangely though, the more Bitcoin obituary notices are published, the stronger, more popular and more expensive and valuable Bitcoin gets.
But, we are confident, there will be more Bitcoin arbituaries, although more and more countries are either planning to accept or have even accepted Bitcoin as a currency. Here is a list of countries that accept Bitcoin: https://www.coinpursuit.com/pages/countries-that-accept-bitcoin/. Out of over 200 countries, there are less then 10 countries, that don't accept Bitcoin. Even India is now considering to accept and use Bitcoin as a currency and has therefore started an online poll and brainstorming website for the citizens in order to decide with the people about the future of Bitcoin in India.
Japan has announced that soon, about 3000 shops in Japan will accept and offer Bitcoin as a legal payment method.
There are more and more unbelievable news about Bitcoin coming out, but somehow the media and even financial experts and officials - like e.g. German central bank boss - discourage people from buying bitcoin and continue predicting the death of it.
