As there are many concerns about the real use case of Cryptocurrencies I decided to continue my series of The Crypto Minute with analyzing some daily benefits for everybody. If you are more in the mood to read about the daily benefits I explained everything below as well. 😉
You don’t need any institution, bank or company to e.g. send or receive money, write a program or interacting with decentralized platforms like Bitshares and Steemit.
Everybody is his own boss and has the full control over his account, data or money. Nobody, not even central banks (which seem to be the most powerful institutions in the world for me) can shut down your account or influence you through some increasing or declining interest rates.
The Power goes back to the People!
As we are nowadays living in a digital age, most of the people use a smartphone daily and take it to any place where they are going to. That’s exactly how you can carry your cryptos with you too. Download a HOT WALLET and scan the code of the store where you are going to or pay with some available debit card opportunities (TenX or BitPanda) everywhere where Visa or MasterCard is accepted.
When speaking about Cryptocurrencies and Fees the times have changed quite a lot in the past year with an ongoing hype and a big amount of new people entering the market. If we are speaking about Bitcoin we are currently talking about $1 (17th April 2018). For sure it’s a lot when you are using Cryptocurrencies for buying a cup of coffee for $2.50, but when you are buying more expensive things like clothes or a weekly purchase of the necessary things you will see that $1 is less than the regular 2.5% credit card fee.
What do I mean? When you want to open a bank account in the U.S. you have to be there and to be there you have to follow some strict guidelines for entering the country. So, you need e.g. a valid passport and visa if you don’t have this there is no way for you getting into the country.
In the Cryptospace we don’t have any restrictions besides having an internet account. I know that just roughly of the world’s population have an internet access, but these are still more than 3 billion people who can join this amazing growing network and technology.
According to the Media in the U.S. or most European countries Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies are having a crazy volatility. This is correct if we measure it by the wealthiest countries on mother earth, but please God think about the poor nations like Venezuela or Zimbabwe. Countries in critical situations who don’t know how to survive if their currencies are losing 10 – 20% of value per day … To see the real circumstances in Venezuela you can look @davidhay's channel on Youtube up and search for Venezuele.
