"Look up, look up as well." This phrase I always like to say when someone asks me for advice on photography or has asked me for some tutoring.
"Mirar hacia arriba, mirar también hacia arriba." Esta frase siempre me gusta decirla cuando alguien me pide consejos sobre fotografía o me ha pedido alguna tutoría.
It's as simple as being able to observe beyond what is at eye level. Change the point of view.
Es tan simple como poder observar más allá de lo que está al nivel de nuestros ojos. Cambiar el punto de vista.
Sometimes we crouch down, other times we rise to a higher place to see the landscape better.
A veces nos agachamos, otras veces nos elevamos a un lugar más alto para ver mejor el paisaje.
Other times, like today, we walk down the street and look up and only see some Cuban power lines, and some birds. They are generally pigeons, both wild and not, and some other little birds. There aren't as many as I would like, since I don't live exactly in the countryside, although I am half an hour away by car from the city center.
Otras veces, como es el caso de hoy, vamos por la calle y miramos hacia arriba y solo vemos unos cables del tendido eléctrico cubano, y algunas aves. Generalmente son palomas, tanto silvestres como no, y algunos pajaritos más. No son tantos como me gustaría, ya que no vivo exactamente en el campo, aunque sí que estoy a media hora en carro del centro de la ciudad.
I was using the 50mm lens and they were definitely very far from me, that's why they look smaller too. I used the lines to try to compose, since the clouds were also missing.
Andaba con el lente de 50 mm y definitivamente estaban muy lejos de mí, por eso es que se ven más pequeñas también. Usé las líneas para tratar de componer, ya que también faltaban las nubes.

And so I go, looking everywhere, trying to make images and fortunately, being here to share with you this entry to the Monomad challenge.
Y así voy, mirando a todos lados, tratando de hacer imágenes y afortunadamente, estando aquí para compartir con ustedes esta entrada al reto Monomad.
