Hello friends, compatriots and curious people! This week our Argentine community participates in the Leo calendar not once but twice. A great honor and pride that we thank the Leo team for, always so active and attentive. They are in a wonderful process of expansion and growth that is a pleasure to see.
But that is not the topic that brings us together today. Because we are commemorating Children's Day in Argentina. A date that fills me with beautiful memories when I went to school, played in the streets of my neighborhood and in the squares. I remember that at school there was always some act or event. The walls were filled with the work of students of all ages. We would get together in the assembly hall and play a game or eat. But that means that the celebration was double. Because then with the family there was also a small treat, whether it was an outing, a special meal and if the situation was good financially even a toy.

I hope to see my nephew and play with him, although he might be with his father! But he also receives double gifts and double entertainment from both of his families (because my sister is separated). Luckily, he is a very happy boy, although stubborn, and we always fight, but in jest because we love each other so much! He likes video games like me, but this generation is more into cell phones and not so much computers. I would have to build one for him, but at one point I gave him a notebook and he never used it! I don't keep the hardware unused so it doesn't lose value, and I ended up selling it. But I have another one to build for him, so I'm going to ask him if he wants it and I'll give it to him.
Saying that children are the future is not a cliché, it is an inevitable fact. But let it not remain a saying. Let it be an invitation to make a better present. Paving the way for future generations is our duty. It is traditionally celebrated in Argentina apart from International Children's Day. It was a proposal by the Argentine Toy Chamber. The name was changed in 2021 to represent all the stages of childhood with its different stages, upbringings and cultural representations. Language is very important because it is how we build our perceptions. But let it not remain only in language, let us protect young people and fight to leave them a better world.

Que tal amigos, compatriotas y curiosos! Esta semana nuestra comunidad argentina participa en el calendario de Leo no una sino dos veces. Un gran honor y orgullo que le agradecemos al equipo de Leo siempre tan activo y atento. Están en un maravilloso proceso de expansión y crecimiento que da gusto de verlo.
Pero ese no es el tópico que nos junta hoy. Porque estamos conmemorando en Argentina el día de las infancias. Fecha que me llena de bellos recuerdos cuando iba a la escuela, jugaba en las calles de mí barrio y en las plazas. Recuerdo que en el colegio siempre se hacía algún acto o evento. Las paredes se llenaban con los trabajos de alumnos de todas las edades. Nos juntábamos en el salón de actos y se hacía algún juego o comíamos. Pero eso quiere decir que el festejo era doble. Porque luego con la familia también había un pequeño agasajo, ya sea una salida, una comida especial y si la situación estaba bien económicamente hasta algún juguete.
Espero poder ver a mi sobrino y jugar con él, aunque quizás este con el padre! Pero también recibe doble regalo y doble agasajo de sus dos familias (porque mi hermana está separada) Por suerte es un chico bastante alegre aunque terco y nos peleamos siempre pero en broma porque nos queremos mucho! Le gustan los videojuegos como a mi pero esta generación es más de los teléfonos celulares y no tanto de las computadoras. Le tendría que armar una, pero en un momento le di una notebook y jamás la usó! Yo el hardware no lo conservo sin usar para que no pierda valor y la terminé vendiendo. Pero tengo otra para armarle así que le voy a preguntar si la quiere y se la voy a regalar.
Decir que los niños son el futuro no es un cliché, es un hecho fáctico inevitable. Pero que no se quede en un dicho. Que sea una invitación a hacer un mejor presente. Allanar el camino para las generaciones futuras es nuestro deber. Se celebra en Argentina tradicionalmente aparte del día del niño internacional. Fue una propuesta de la Cámara Argentina del Juguete. El nombre se le cambió en 2021 para representar todos los estadios de la infancia con sus distintas etapas, crianzas y representaciones culturales. El lenguaje es muy importante porque es como construimos nuestras percepciones. Pero que no quede solo en el lenguaje, protejamos a los jóvenes y luchemos por dejarles un mundo mejor.
