Hey everyone, yesterday was my 40th so my head it kind hurting today, my bad ;) Looking at this food is making me rather hungry as I have not eaten in 24 hours, bottled sandwiches only, hint hint, wink wink.
Are you gluten intolerant? Many folks always argue: What happened 20 years ago no one had ever heard of gluten intolerance? I always have the most simple of rebuttals, sure but the food was 1000 times better back then and laced with way less poison/gmo/pesticides etc than it is now. Technically we are not gluten intolerant we are glyphosate and whatever else rubbish they put in our food intolerant.
What is my point of this all? Well I have just recently come up with a fantastic pasta/rice substitute and it is incredibly healthy and delicious!
Kale and Spinach Freshly harvested from my vegetable garden chopped up. I then get 1 onion chop it up into pieces. Get a frying pan on the stove add about a teaspoon of butter and a teaspoon of coconut oil.
Sear the onions for about 2 minutes odd and then add the kale and chopped spinach. Cook for around another 4-6 minutes turning regularly as not to burn.
What I like to do too is add salt, pepper and chopped garlic at the end. You now have your rice/pasta substitute. Heat the plate up ( I like a hot plate ) lay the bed of kale/spinach on the plate, then add mince, I generally play around with this sometimes adding gouda or cheddar, parmesan even is fantastic.
Here we have one of the gardens where I harvest these nutritious, delicious vegetables from. What I plan to do the next time around is pick a few carrots, either grate or chop them up and add them to the mix too, should be rather nice I imagine as well.
Eating out of the garden truly is so empowering and healthy and I totally recommend it for everyone.
Trust you have an incredible week further
Cheer$;)
