Been away for a few days on a little holiday in Yorkshire, or God's own country as it is known around here. I know there's plenty of other places that are called that as well. We've stayed in Huddersfield as it has a large number of highly rated pubs :D
It was a walking holiday, we walked around the Pennines which is a mountain/hill range in Northern England and through several villages in the countryside. The first walk was just a bit over 20km and the second was a bit shorter at 14km; my feet are a bit achey right now to be honest.
I was quite impressed with myself as I've managed to open a bottle of wine by hand without using any tools :D It was a great location to have a little break.
After the first walk we made our way to one of the best UK breweries, Magic Rock .
Unfortunately we couldn't get there in time to have a brewery tour but their Tap room was open.
They sell a tasting tray which is a great way of sampling quite a few different beers in one session!
