Mi abuelita siempre me decía :

My grandmother always used to tell me:
Get dressed, dear, cover up that skin, see that women who dress like that go straight to hell, that's not Godly behavior, how are you going to find a decent and family man if you're always walking around like a poorly tied dough.

Many moons have passed since those wise and good advice, I really tried to listen to my modest grandmother. Although thinking about it, I don't know how true those words were, because even though my grandmother was always well-dressed and more covered up than a Christmas hallaca, my grandfather wasn't the best husband in the world. He sure gave my poor grandmother a lot of headaches!

And I, at this point in my life, don't show much skin and I'm not poorly tied, I've spent years cutting back on how much I eat and spend hours at the gym, and yet; I have neither a bad nor a good husband and I don't know if I'll go to hell.
What I am sure of is that whenever I can, I grab my platform heels or whatever they're called, I put on my shorts to show off my hours of hard work in the gym, I wear my colorful t-shirt with starry sky designs, I tousle my hair and put it up in a hat, I wear my emerald green sunglasses, I dress like a queen and go out to conquer the world.
I'm shining like a star in the universe and more illuminated than a Christmas tree, and I go out to show the world, my late grandmother, and above all myself, that I am a woman, I am happy, and no one can take away my swagger.

But when I arrive at midnight after conquering and almost ending the world, I undress from my queen attire, put on my pajamas, and cover myself from head to toe, because the last thing I want is to go to hell.
