What happens when you get a bunch of long time steemians together for dinner? You don’t just talk about the weather, I’ll tell you that!
I can’t believe how it all worked out and that all four of us were in Philly at the same time and free to meet up. I had a great time chatting with these guys about the future of Steem and it’s role in the crypto and decentralized social content space. It was fun to chat about

@aggroed, and me!I had to the chance to meetup with Aggie earlier in the day and do a little Philly sightseeing. It was my first time visiting the city and so we went past independence hall, the Liberty bell and other historical sights.
Sightseeing and having dinner with these guys was the perfect way to close out my trip to Philly and I’m so glad it all worked out.
Moral of the story is that meeting up with other steemians in person is so worth it. It’s refreshing to actually talk about Steem related stuff on a deeper level with people who get it. You never know what great ideas might come out of conversations like that. That’s why I’m a huge proponent of going to in person events like Steemfest. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a single person say they didn’t have an amazing time. Much of that is due to 
Aside from conferences, I love seeing some of the strong local Steem meetups that happen around the world. The close knit and friendly community in Australia is inspiring to me. I love how 
I’m writing you guys from the Seattle airport as I wait for a shuttle to take me the last few hours. Time to catch up on all the work I’ve been falling behind on while at the conference! I mentioned this in my post yesterday - but I’ll be doing a whole vlog on Dtube sharing my experiences from the conference. I’ll aim to get that up sometime this week and look forward to sharing it out with you guys!
