I live in a sunken skyscraper,
In a dystopian city of despair.
I used to work in this tower,
Until the floods came and pulled it under.
Now I live in its dark depths,
With the other lost and forgotten souls.
We eke out a living here,
In the dank and the dark.
We scavenge and we search,
For anything that we can find.
We are the forgotten,
The ones that the world has left behind.
But even in this darkness,
We find a way to survive.
The view from my room. It used to be my office.
