Lazarus is a city of death and despair,
A place where hope goes to die.
The streets are lined with the broken and the forgotten,
And the air is thick with their cries.
But still I walk these streets,
For I have nowhere else to go.
This is my home now,
And these are my people.
We are the walking dead,
The ones who have been left behind.
We are the lost and the damned,
But we are still alive.
We cling to life with everything we have,
And we fight on, even though we know we can't win.
This is our city,
The city of Lazarus.
