Greetings
This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.
Now, let's get into this week's showcase.
@marajah - Few of my experiences in public yard
From my past experiences as a tenant, am praying for all good-hearted tenants to receive miraculous elevation from God so as to build their own house and have occupancy. You may ask, why am sounding this way, the truth is that if you were born in Nigeria with golden spoon, you're missing a lot because, raw black spoon is the best. Why? before you'll be able to change the raw black spoon into golden, it must pass different stages of refining and finally, you'll see more reasons to value it.
From the less worse to the worst experience at the public yard she once lived in, hilarious scenes you could imagine.

@diikaan - At Times Like This
So I guess I've started the post already, more like my thumb has started clicking away at the keyboard. The process is actually helping to get rid of the cold that rendered my thumb numb for some days. In a bid to save my brain from the numbness of the cold though, I had ventured to the outskirts of my city some days ago, looking for a meal that will help relieve the cold.
It didn't start as many COM post would start but it is a funny read like many good COM post turn out to be especially with the character he chose to use.
@supernova004 - LOVE, LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO
Teenage love can be so intoxicating and can make you do really stupid things. Even when you're seeing signs to not go ahead, love will be tossing you around like a flag. I was a fool myself.
At least he acknowledged that it was all part of being a teenager, this COM author shared his experience of what love made him do.

@diebitch - Extended thoughts on high fashion shoots
Today we look at high fashion shoots and how impossibly out of touch with reality the people that are in this small fashion bubble tend to be. Most of these are high-brow conceptual shots. Stuff that is dreamt up by 6-year-olds high on cotton candy and 60-year-olds high on other stuff. Women wearing a 5-year-old's hobby dress in emaciated vitamin d deficiency poses. In situations that would otherwise be termed dangerous.
This is a good one, you'll learn from this writer too and of course, laugh alongside her way of sharing what she thinks about high fashion shoots.

@ovey10 - Crazy Things We Do For Love
I am not the violence type actually but I hope my girlfriend don't become hungry tomorrow, next tomorrow and even the day after next tomorrow. If he can trade our transportation for silver then I should be able to bring back home a gold. What if he decides to bring home what is more than a gold? Let me quickly go and pack the remnant of my rice in his room because I can't afford to do this anymore!
Another rants about what love can make one do, yeah the crazy things. You should check it out to know if you're doing worse than that or you need to be extra careful not to be one later.

@fashtioluwa - When you are faced with a strong opponent but you are smarter
It's funny how we all grow and that discipline is still in us. I always want to get things done before they say anything. My dad will be like, "You have to be proactive in all you do"(in his voice) but to my surprise, the lions I once had as parents are now as meek as a lamb. Was it because they are grandparents?
The meme image in this post is one that many could relate to while they were still kids, this author shared his own experience of being smart to a stronger opponent.
