I've been here for some time trying to find the right words and way to start this post but it just doesn't seem to click. Like I know what I want to write about, but it seems there is a whole planet between my brain and my thumb, and in between them is the plot for the post.
I can literally hear myself laughing at the jokes already, but I don't know how to say it to be funny, making me feel like a deaf comedian who knows and tells good jokes but can't hear any laughter apart from his own.
So I guess I've started the post already, more like my thumb has started clicking away at the keyboard. The process is actually helping to get rid of the cold that rendered my thumb numb for some days. In a bid to save my brain from the numbness of the cold though, I had ventured to the outskirts of my city some days ago, looking for a meal that will help relieve the cold.
I remember getting to a buka (local restaurant) to get a good sumptuous plate of fisherman soup. Unfortunately I met the owner of the restaurant who was a fisherman sitting in one of the corners crying. When I asked what was wrong with him, he told me that he lost his sole mate(his wife) to a shark.
I know it hurts when you lose your mate to another animal but I just did not know how to feel though because I've never been in his situation. More like when they say that "he who wears the shoe, knows where it pinches". But that's up until you tell it to a lepros man who's lost all his toes.
Back to the weather and the cold, it's been hectic this week as the rain has been on a roll since Sunday and the cold has been out of this world. Few days ago I was inside a bus on my way back home.
I was tired and cold and must've had a brain hemorrhage when I randomly texted @nelson-george "I love you", unconscious that I was leaning on the shoulders of this other guy sitting beside me.
Nelson replied and asked why I was gay. I smiled because I was expecting it and then I felt a nudge on my head. Immediately I sat up and apologized, only to notice that this dude was smiling at me sheepishly. That's when I realized that he had been reading my chats. I froze for a second and tried to comport myself and look away.
Obviously he was getting the wrong ideas and I knew there was no way to explain to this guy that I wasn't gay without sounding guilty. But that wasn't my biggest issue, my issue was that this dude looked like Thanos with all the facial tribal marks. I felt like a skeleton in his presence which might explain my lack of guts to confront him.
When he started talking, the Ibadan accept was so thick that I didn't need to mark his words because they were already marked as they left his mouth. And he was licking his lips with every sentence making it look so disgusting. My subconscious immediately went into prayer mode, chanting "I cover my yansh with the blood of God".
I believe I was saved by that prayer because when I was alighting, he gently caressed my ass in a romantic nature but ended up rupturing my skin. That explained all the muscles and rough look, he was a mason. I have never seen a gay mason in my life. I thought all gay guys are supposed to be soft and girlish?
Well, my days recently haven't really been normal, it's been as if a secret power that I don't know of is trying to play pranks on me. 5 days ago I downloaded a "writing prompt" file from a site with word prompts that I can write on throughout the month of July. The last 4 days has had the words Nap, Alone, and Cucumber as 3 of its prompts.
Firstly, nap is done on the bed right? And then it's best to nap alone so no one can disturb you right? And then there's cucumber. Personally I can't eat a random cucumber at a lady's house, because we all know what it can substitute for. So there's a bed, there's me being alone and then there's cucumber. I don't know what that entails.
So after that encounter in the bus, I noticed the trajectory of the prompts and I don't know if I'm being paranoid or not, but I just don't trust the way events are taking shape in my life. Let's not even mention the fact that I got into a conversation with my ex the other day, trying to get laid in the process, when she started complaining about the mistakes in her life.
Impatient as I was with the weather boning my boner hard, I cut her off and just told her to learn how to embrace her mistakes, forget about them and just live her life. That was when she grabbed me, hugged me, tight, released me, then turned around and left. What is really happening??
