Pretty sure I could spend hours just wandering around Metro stations taking photos.
Or at least until the transit cops took an unhealthy interest in me.
Between the people, trains, and the architecture of the stations there's more than enough to shoot to keep me busy for a long time.
The distortion from the wide angle lens makes shots down there even more fun.
The light down there could be better, with these two photos I tried panning with the train as it pulled into the station and it almost worked.
Riding the Metro is its own adventure, an interesting mix of tourists and locals packed into a confined space.
I'd like to just ride for hours snapping shots but I'm afraid I'd catch the subterranean homesick blues.
Still, it might be worth it.
Sooner or later though, everybody has to get off.
Anyone else get a horizontal missile silo feel here?
