On a warm (for December at least) afternoon late last year I went with a friend to explore the Falls of the Ohio State Park in Indiana (it's got fossil beds you can explore!) and take photos. I'd been there plenty of times before but you always find new stuff, plus the Ohio River always makes sure things are a little different each time. I've taken shots of the skyline from here many times before but this is one of only a couple times that I've been able to get reflections like that.

If you look closely you can see "HOTEL" on the side of one building on the riverfront, that's the Galt House, one of the more well known hotels in the city. It's linked by a causeway to another building which is also part of the hotel. If you look below this other building at the water level you are looking at the Belle of Louisville, a paddle wheel steamboat built in 1914 that still plys up and down the Ohio River and stages a steamboat race every year as part of the Kentucky Derby festivities.
