Iroquois Park was filled with the sounds of petrol music this weekend, the annual car show rumbled back into town and took up residence in the park.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition through-the-windows shot. Was a long weekend, but not in the fun, extra day sort of way. Missed out on the first day of the car show, was in southern Kentucky to take photos of a Pride event in the birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Made it back from Corbin in time to catch some of Sunday's portion of 'Cruisin' The Park.' There's nothing like the smell of half-burnt gasoline in the morning.

Before I knew it, the cops were running everybody off and closing it down, or trying to at least. The classic cars and their classic owners weren't exactly in any hurry to depart, to the law's consternation.
They may have all scattered for the year, but when the last weekend in September rolls around again, you can bet the hot rod family reunion will be rolling in too.
