Back at the end of May I was wandering around downtown Louisville in search of protests and police when I took this shot. I'd been playing the 'follow the helicopter' game to try and find where things were happening and was trying to get shots of the helicopters with some of the downtown buildings in the shot too. It was while wandering around staring up at the sky that I noticed the lines of this building and took a liking to it. I have no clue what the name of the building is but it is part of the 4th Street Live! portion of downtown (a word of warning, that's nothing but a giant tourist trap!).
I did manage to get a few shots of both buildings and chopper, this one is my favorite just because it looks like the chopper is flying into the building. Shortly afterwards I found the police and National Guard and got completely distracted from the buildings and helicopters.
Needless to say, there were plenty of incongruous and unusual juxtapositions that day...
