Several hundred people turned out in Louisville's Highlands on Independence Day but they weren't there to celebrate.
Instead they filled the air with chants as they took to the streets, marching through the bar district before paying a visit to Mid-City Mall.
To my surprise, LMPD left us alone. Instead we had a few Three Percenters and a guy with an AK-47 shadowing us. Thankfully nothing bad happened but it lent an even more ominous air to an already grim day.
