A veces esta bien estar triste | Sometimes it's okay to be sad

Sometimes I am not well and it has taken me a long time to understand that it is okay, to feel afraid, tired, it is okay not to want to do anything, but the question is, to what extent is it healthy to feel this way? in pregnancy I have experienced many things, emotions that go up and down. Days full of color and others gray, which looking at it from another perspective is the perfect combination of what it means to be pregnant. Because in this season of my life, I have felt complete, loved, so full of life and purpose, but at the same time, I look in the mirror and think that the person standing there in front of me is someone completely different than the person I was seven months ago.
I was sad to feel sad about all the physical and emotional changes I have been going through. But I understood that every stage of our lives leads to a transformation and every transformation brings pain and glory. So I should not minimize my feelings because they are evidence that something is changing and it is part of the process.
Beyond how vulnerable I may feel right now, I can say that I have accepted all these changes with love. I have loved my body more than before, even though it looks different, and every time my husband looks at me with the same love and tenderness as he did before, it reminds me that deep down, I am still me, although with a few extra pounds. I think that's the beauty of this stage, that although many things change, your essence is still intact. Obviously, your mentality changes, your goals change, many plans change, your body changes, but the person you are, what defines your essence, your identity is still there, even though sometimes we feel lost. You must remember that you are still there. Your dreams are still there, your talents and abilities are still there.
I like to write about my emotions during my pregnancy because it helps me to give clarity to what I feel, and in turn, to give answers to many questions that often sail through my mind. One way to drain and feel free is not to imprison my feelings but to let them flow.
I also want to tell you that we are only two months away from meeting my baby. Time has gone by so fast that we still have a lot of things to buy. I am terrified that the day will come and we will not be prepared with everything we need for the arrival of a baby. My husband just got a good job a few months ago, but it is not enough to cover all the expenses we have, I have not done very well in my job, so I have not been able to be an economic support and that hurts me a lot because I really would like to give more, but unfortunately it has not been possible. When bedtime comes, all I do is think and think about so many things that we have to organize in such a short time that I can hardly sleep. But I know that there are things I cannot control, I can only trust and wait.
Thank you very much for reading me. See you in the next post.💗
