Espa帽ol

Que largo se ve el camino
son anchos y coloridos,
all铆 transitaron los pasos
de muchos ancestros m铆os.

Aunque el llano me despierta magia
magia que a煤n no he vivido,
ya que no he tenido la oportunidad
de caminar sus caminos.

Mi abuela por parte de padre
de Calabozo era nativa
as铆 que llanera era,
pero por culpa de mi padre
ni siguiera la conocer铆a.

Siempre he tenido el deseo
de poder conocer el llano,
madrugar con el canto del gallo
y con gusto orde帽ar al ganado.

Arar las tierras del campo
limpiar y cuidar los cultivos,
para despu茅s de un tiempo
poder recolectar sin motivos.

Qu茅 maravilloso ser铆a
poder cabalgar en el llano,
oler el caf茅 reci茅n colado
y sonre铆r con el que este a mi lado.

Ya escucho el canto de las aves
veo el cielo despejado,
y al oscurecer la noche
ver el cielo bien estrellado.

Hay llano qui茅n te viviera
en tus amaneceres resplandecientes,
cuando el alba poco a poco
se va poniendo lentamente.

Vivir en esas tierras
los lindos atardeceres,
donde el sol de igual manera
poco a poco desaparece.

Y la noche que oscurece
trayendo as铆 un cielo estrellado,
escuchar el grupo de joropo
Y bailar bien zapatiao.

Comer sus rica gastronom铆a
cachapa, cochino y carne en vara,
se me hace ag眉ita la boca
de solo pensar en el bocado.

Hay malaya qui茅n pudiera
por fin estar en el llano,
disfrutar de todo eso
qu茅 muchos a m铆 me han contado.

Espero un d铆a no lejano
poder realizar este sue帽o,
de vivir todo esto que quiero
ya que el llano lo llevo adentro.

ENGLISH

How long the road seems,
wide and colorful,
there the footsteps of many of my ancestors have trod.

Although the plains awaken magic in me,
magic I haven't yet experienced,
since I haven't had the chance
to walk their paths.

My paternal grandmother
from Calabozo was a native,
so she was a plainswoman,
but because of my father,
I wouldn't even know her.

I've always longed
to know the plains,
to wake up early with the rooster's crow
and happily milk the cattle.

To plow the fields,
to clean and tend the crops,
so that after a while,
I can harvest for no reason.

How wonderful it would be
to ride across the plains,
to smell the freshly brewed coffee
and smile with whoever is by my side.

I can already hear the birds singing,
I see the clear sky,
and as night falls,
I see the sky full of stars.

Oh, plains, who wouldn't want to live there,
in your radiant dawns,
when the day slowly
sets down.

To live in those lands,
to experience the beautiful sunsets,
where the sun, likewise,
slowly disappears.

And as night falls,
bringing a starry sky,
to listen to the joropo group
and dance with gusto.

To eat its delicious cuisine:
cachapas, pork, and meat on a stick,
my mouth waters
just thinking about the food.

Oh, how I wish I could
finally be in the plains,
enjoy all that
so many have told me about.

I hope that one day soon
I can realize this dream,
to live all that I want,
because the plains are in my heart.
