I posted about this little gem of a hotel hidden away where most people wouldn't find it.
Waiting for my food and getting so hungry
So, here's the deal - you get to use the swimming pool if you order food. They serve an evening meal with two choices. Tonight it was either roast pork and roast potatoes - or fish and chips - and a choice of two salads and a dessert. I don't eat pork (except for bacon and ham- crazy hey) so I bargained with them and asked if I could have the fish with the roast potatoes instead of chips. They were so nice about it and complied with my wishes.
I duly arrived at six and had a swim (the pool is only open until seven), allowed myself some time to dry off, and then sat down to eat my dinner at a table next to the pool.
The fish was out of this world and served to me by the chef himself. The lady from reception came to bring me the coke I had ordered and the dessert and grapes.
Crumbed Fish with oven roasted potatoes, salad & dessert
I had a choice between a Russian Salad (which I was informed was coleslaw or a village salad. I opted for the village salad which was served in a separate bowl.
I was amused because the menu showed chocolate cake and then this delicious custard and fruit tart appeared. I wasn't complaining because I love that dessert. If Les, my daughter in law had been with me I think she might have not been happy because she loves chocolate cake.
Nothing worse than expecting a favourite and it doesn't come - but like I said for me it was a hundred percent ok.
This was truly a delicious meal - salad, main and dessert all for 9 euros. Best part is I was able to take half the meal home to have for lunch tomorrow. Definitely too much for me in one sitting.

I complimented the chef for the best fish I have had in Cyprus.
