Hello everyone it's your girl @chisom13鉂わ笍
There are movies you watch and forget about or you won't be interested in watching them the second time, while movies like Titanic, never get old. It portrays lots of vivid emotions like, romance, tragedy, fear, courage.
Titanic, directed by James Cameron, is one of the most memorable romantic dramas in film history. The movie tells the story of Rose DeWitt Bukater, a beautiful young woman from an upper-class family, and Jack Dawson, a poor but carefree young man, who wins a ticket to board the Titanic.
Rose was expected to marry Cal Hockley, a wealthy man she didn't love. Just because it was what her family wanted, and she agreed to it even though she knew she never found happiness with him. She felt trapped and suffocated because even though she had everything money could buy, every beautiful jewellery, beautiful diamonds and silver jewelleries, beautiful dresses and was even treated like a queen, she still lacked freedom and happiness. It felt as though she was living someone else's life.
Jack on the other hand, was a free-sprited handsome young man. He had no social status but he was happy, adventurous, carefree and so full of life. He simply wanted to experience life and create beautiful memories.
Then, the two met.
When they first met, Jack helped Rose discover a part of herself she thought she had lost. He made her experience happiness, freedom, and confidence. For the first time, she wasn't being controlled by anyone, he encouraged her to laugh, take risks, dream, prioritize her happiness and live for herself.
Unlike her finance Cal, who always tried to control her, Jack make her feel safe and at peace. And with time, they grew closer and fell deeply in love with each other.
And then, something unexpected happened.
The Titanic hit the iceberg, it broke into two and began sinking. And in just a twinkle of an eye, the atmosphere changed from people who were enjoying their luxury lives to people who were fighting for survival.
In the midst of the chaos, we see, selfishness, bravery, sacrifice, and desperation.
Jack's death remains one of the most painful and heartbreaking scene in the movie. He willingly sacrificed his life for the woman he loved to live. He made her promise that she must keep living, and she won't be deeply affected by his death. He just wanted her to be happy.
After the incident, despite she lost someone she deeply loved, she had to keep living the life he wanted her to live. Although their time together was short, the impact he had on her life was permanent.
In the end, Jack didn鈥檛 save Rose by giving her a life, he gave her the courage to live it on her own terms and write the rest of her story herself.
Titanic is a beautiful reminder that reminds us that love is not always measured by how long someone stays in our lives, but by how deeply they change us.
