Hey there! Any flexy hive bloggers? 馃ぃ
I started training my flexibility when I was still in elementary, I was around 8 years old. My mom would always sign me up in Ballet classes and Hawaiian classes during summer. When I reached 4th grade, I also joined Cebu Performing Ambassadors headed by our school. It gave us opportunities to perform Filipino folk dances in a huge stage with international guests. When we train in school, we also need to improve our flexibility because some dances incorporate ballet movements and we needed to be graceful. 馃拑
Flexibility training helped me improve my balance and posture. It allowed me to do different dance steps that needed a wide range of motion. It also helped me with my strength since I needed to use my muscles to sustain or maintain the movement. I can say that I was more flexible when I was younger. During highschool and college days, I wasn't able to train nor dance. After I graduated from university, I decided to try pole dancing. In pole dance classes, I needed to retrain my body to make it flexible again so I can do the pole tricks well. It's important to be consistent in flexibility training because once we stop for even a few weeks, the pain will come back again which is really frustrating. 馃槚
From all the poses, front split is easier and comfortable for me to do. I am still training my middle split and I find it really really hard and painful. I also want to practice dancer's pose that I can do for another photo collection.
Anyway, here are my top 10!

馃榿Comment: We went here to celebrate my mom's birthday. I rarely wear bikini so I thought this would be perfect for a split pic as a remembrance of my confidence this day. 馃ぃ

馃榿Comment: This was during our Aerial Hoops training. This was a really scary trick since I have fear of heights and I was upside down. As you can see, I had to be steady doing this pose because it's only one leg that's holding me in this position. My legs had to be engaged, and my hands there needed to resist the hoop from shaking and prevent me from being out of balance. If you don't get what I mean, it's okay, I suck at explaining HAHA.
馃こPhoto taken by: Our coach, I forgot if it was Coach Juli or Coach @anneporter. We had 2 coaches for Aerial Hoops, so either one of them.

I like this because it's scary and I like anything that scares me haha.

馃榿Comment: I was on my way to the bus station to go home. I asked my friend to take this picture because the statue looks like they are doing a split too, but I think they're doing Taichi. lol It's still nice tho. I liked the weather during this day too, it was sunny but the air was cold.

馃榿Comment: We were early to class and I took advantage of the empty classroom. Just thought it was funny but I'm sure the instructor would kick me out, or my classmates would judge me for doing this. Well, my friend Taka thought it was a bad idea but I am childish and naughty. 馃槣 oh well

馃榿Comment: This was during our introduction to freediving course. My fellow hive blogger @thegaillery and I were playful and happy to do our pole poses underwater. As if we weren't struggling with equalization and holding our breath already. LOL

Just a little rating. Need to do this again with better cam, in a bikini and maybe go deeper. Would also be nice if I was surrounded by fishes. hahah lol too demanding??
馃憭Place: Boracay Island, Philippines
馃榿Comment: Yow! I had a bad hangover and lack sleep but we had to do this because we already paid for it. It was a bad idea, I was close to panicking because it was my first time to try Aquanaut helmet diving and it felt weird and uncomfortable. Don't follow my bad example. I was just battling with my mind, tricking myself into thinking that I am okay, I am calm and I am having fun. It actually worked after a few minutes. hahaha When I was comfortable enough, I thought it would be epic to split! woot!

Again, it would be nice if I was surrounded by fishes. I rated it high because this was also challenging.
Sad to say, I don't recommend this activity in Boracay. Look at my background, most of the corals were dead and there isn't much down there. There's only this one spot that had one big rock with corals and tiny fishes which was where the picture taking happens. SAD. find another place.
馃憭Place: Budlaan trail to Sirao Peak, Cebu City, Ph
馃榿Comment: My ex took me here with his friends and it was my first time meeting them. This was also my first time trekking in a long and difficult trail. It took us 5-6 hours to reach the Sirao Mountain Peak because I was too slow so they had to wait for me and it also rained heavily which was really dangerous because it started to get slippery going up the mountain. But I'm glad we were all safe and we got to see 3 waterfalls, river trails and a heart shaped lagoon!

I was proud of myself here! An evidence that I conquered a challenging trail! Look at my exhausted face, pretending to be okay. HAHA I was soaking wet in that picture by the way because of the rain. When we reached the peak, the sun came out so we got to see the beautiful view!
馃憭Place: Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center, Macau
馃榿Comment: I was struggling to get to this handrailing because of the limited space and I had to ask my dad to assist me hahah Glad the staff didn't reprimand or ask me to go down, well because the staff was a Filipino, so we became friends. haha The perks of meeting Filipinos everywhere.

Bad photo quality, I lost the original photo, I just grabbed this from my instagram lol
But BROOOO! I need to go back here to try Bungee jumping!!! haahah as if I had the guts but def in my bucket list 馃ぃ Macau skypark is 233m high and is the world's highest commercial bungee jump. They are recognized by the Guinness World Record.
There was a screen inside the tower showing the people who are about to jump. There's this one girl who was already panicking by the edge, she was just closing her eyes the whole time and it took her around 30 minutes before she jumped. I was really proud of her!! Soooo brave! but then again, remind me why people do these crazy things? hahahah Who gave us the idea of bungee jumping?!? hahahah

馃榿Comment: My girlfriends and I went here to support our bestfriend who was launching her new song. She teamed up with an international DJ and producer. It's always a fun night with the girls! I was already drunk and red in this photo. but drinking alcohol lessens the pain when I split. haaha

I like this photo. I miss the carefree , spontaneous nights like this.
馃憭Place: Halle Manna Resort, Moalboal, Cebu
馃榿Comment: This was an outing sponsored by our bosses in the clinic where I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. We spent the night here in the resort and we had so much fun looking for turtles and swimming with the fishes. If you ever go to Cebu, Moalboal is 2-3 hours away from the city but a lot of tourists and even locals come here for road trips, diving/freediving, trek or chase waterfalls. This picture was taken in a beautiful hut or what we call "Bahay Kubo."
