.
I have been to places
Where boys blend their shadows with water
To make home out of their bones
Places where silence is a way
Into the origin of creation
Embedded in a maiden's voice
Places where memories are songs
Dancing too close to fire
Where the sky hold purple roses
Over the head of girls
Waiting for a voice to lead them home
Places where people set their souls on fire
For fear of running into death in cold bodies
Where darkness is prelude to light
And to songs, suspended on the tongue
Of boys, hiding their fears in reeks of cigarettes
Here, boys are broken consonants
In the mouth of men walking out of their bodies
Into another- non existing
And girls are poems with desolate dictions
They said they're from homes
Where freedom is plucking solitude in nested rooms
I do not know much about the rejected and dejected
But i do know about girls
Melting into ugly photographs
At the sight of beaches, oceans and hills
I learnt their mothers are
From the league of women
Buried alive by broken gods
And i do know of boys
Clad with tales that doesn't hold their father's bodies
The myth is that we are born to live in our own world
Someway somehow we're only trying to break from our shells
