For this week's battle challenge I went to my brand new alt account as I don't play Earth much on my main. I earned 6 DEC on my first day, and used it to rent a couple of cheap cards which is why I have the Creeping Ooze.🙂
I think this battle is quite instructive as it is Earth vs Earth using different strategies, and both sides are using the Goblin Psychic as it is a staple of Earth teams - at least at the levels I play in! With his tank heal and high damage he is worth the relatively high mana cost.
Placement
The choice of team and placement here is critical. My opponent chose to place the big tank with taunt at the back. Not only does it not get healed there, but it also uses a big chunk of mana so once the smaller front line tank/dps and healer are summoned there is little mana left to back up the front of the line.
Round 1
In the first round my front line tank and his back line tank were both taken down to 3 health and maybe things look fairly even, but with the Unicorn enraged his front line tank won't last.
Round 2
As you can see, the field cleared quickly and now his healer has nothing left to heal. The Princess will fall to one hit and his Goblin won't be far behind.
Conclusion
If you are using a healer, you also need to think about what he will be healing.
