不过这个项目有一个致命的缺陷, 个人的生物特征采样, 它要扫描你的眼球虹膜, 把这个作为你作为地球上的人的唯一标志, 区分于那些人工智能的东西. 这里有两个问题, 一个是个人隐私的安全性, 如果采集眼球虹膜的地方把你的采集数据保存起来, 卖给了别人, 或者被黑客攻克了, 那就是致命的危险, 不管你账上多少钱, 人家有了这个, 就能生成你的私钥, 就能把你钱都卷跑, 或者以你的名义做坏事. 这个我觉得是不可避免的. 如果规定采集地点要当场销毁数据, 这个只能保存给个人, 但是这个实际很难操作;
Recently, there's a highly popular cryptocurrency called "world coin." Its founders are Alex Blania, the CEO of OpenAI, and Sam Altman. In principle, it is distributed for free to everyone in the world. However, to obtain it, you need to go to a specialized place to scan your eye iris and use this biometric feature to generate a private key. Then, you can claim the world coin. This token contract operates on the Polygon blockchain. I feel that Altman's vision is to create a global universal currency that can be used for transactions. Profits generated by AI will be distributed to the people who own world coins.
This concept is referred to as Universal Basic Income (UBI), which means that in the future, everyone will receive a basic income, and people won't have to work for their basic needs. Hard work will be handled by AI since approximately 65% of jobs may be automated in the future. The remaining 30% of jobs might be performed by human elites, while ordinary people will only need to handle the remaining 5% of the work.
The idea sounds fantastic. Capitalists would focus on exploiting artificial intelligence, and ordinary people would have a way to make a living. If not, there would likely be social unrest. With AI generating significant profits, distributing some of it to the general public seems like a good idea. People can then choose to work harder for a better life or simply "lie flat" (refrain from excessive work) and engage in activities they enjoy, like singing, dancing, or pursuing art, without worrying about survival.
However, this project has a fatal flaw—the personal biometric sampling. It requires scanning your eye iris, which serves as the unique identifier for you as an individual on Earth, distinguishing you from artificial intelligence entities. There are two problems with this approach. Firstly, it raises concerns about the security of personal privacy. If the place collecting iris data stores it, sells it to others, or gets hacked, it poses a severe risk. Regardless of how much money you have, if someone possesses this data, they can generate your private key and steal your money or engage in malicious activities in your name. This seems inevitable. Secondly, there's the potential for abuse of iris data, similar to how some fund managers in China collected many people's identity cards from rural areas to manipulate the stock market. Now, this method has been transferred to the realm of cryptocurrency.
I am reading a book named "The Sovereign Individual," which outlines a vision for the future. However, further details about the book will be provided after reading it.
