Before you read the caption and come here to blow hot, relax! Nobody de follow you fight.
I'm not in any way trying to downplay your emotions or feelings or whatever. I just feel that heartbreak isn't so so heartbreaking. Like, there are certain day-to-day occurrences that are worse. Really crazy stuff that you and I have experienced. Stuff like,
• Trying to answer a phonecall in the bathroom and your phone accidentally falls inside the toilet. Mine happened when u was trying to change the song that was playing. And instead of driving the phone the proper way, I put it in a microwave on low heat. Kai! My phone "toasted"
• Downloading a movie of 1.5gb only for it to get to 99%, then an error message reading "download failed" showed.
• Waking up in the morning and realizing the socket where you plugged your phone and powerbank all night was not turned on. And as soon as you turn on the switch, PHCN do what they know how best to do.
• "Omo, na one game cut my ticket." Sportybet scholars and ambassadors understand better.
• Remembering a perfect clapback you could have used long after the argument has ended.
• Losing a your WhatsApp stickers.
• When the food at an event finishes before it gets to your turn. This has happened to me too. It took four eke market days to recover from the 'horror' because it felt like everyone at the table was looking at me with pity that very day.
• Unplanned expenses. Like your Samsung screen of over a 100k goes blank on a Monday morning.
• Your bank taking 64naira out of your lat 1k that you planned to withdraw, use to feed and wait for manna to show.
• Laughing so hard and mistakenly farting loudly in the presence of your crush.
• Realizing that, now that you're an aunty/uncle, candies and biscuits are no longer 10nairq again.
• Putting your money in a paying investment only for it to crash the very next day.
• Taking your time to write an important article, only for you to post it and realize that you posted it in the wrong community.
• When you tell your roommate that you don't have shishi. Moments later, you start looking for your money.
• Coming back home very famished, expecting to dig into food furiously, only to see that your mum is only just preparing to leave for the market.
• Have you even heard about "but na here I plug my phone na."
•Getfing blocked while still typing. Especially when you intend to block the person after sending the message you were typing.
• Spending your last 200naira only to get home and discover that your gas is finished.
The list is goes on and on. Heartbreak no reach!
If you know some more, please add.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
