People always think about success and achievement in a false manner. Success is not about the triumphant moment when you walk those steps up and take your prize after a hard battle.
Success is not about the moment you beat your opponent or achieve something that you set out to do a long time ago.
The measure of your achievements is much more valuable than your passing moments of pride and enlightenment. In today’s blog post, we will talk about your ultimate moment of glory.
Your ultimate moment of glory is none of those mentioned above. Your moment of glory is when you are hell bent on doing something and you refuse to take no for an answer or give in to your compulsions and temptations for comfort.
Your moment of glory is not the moment you walk up the stairs to that stage.
Your moment of glory is when you wake up every day, and despite your moody brain, you decide to work out. You decide to sit down and do your job. You decide to perform your tasks, come hell or high water, and achieve your goals.
It is difficult to keep up hope. It is difficult to wake up every day and be as motivated and energized as you were before. Surrendering is easy. Taking the easy path does not require you to sweat or work hard.
But despite all of these temptations, you decide to get up and do it. That is your moment of glory.
What do you think about when no one is watching? What do you do when no one is watching? What do you do in the darkest hour of the night, in the vast solitude of your mind?
Today, you are doing something that no one is willing to do. Tomorrow, you are going to do something that no one can do. This is the ultimate rule of life. This is the ultimate formula for success.
It is not about winning. When you wake up every day, and you start doing things and taking steps to realize your goals, you have already achieved your moment of glory.
Be proud of yourself. Not a lot of people are willing to do that. That is why there are so many few successful people, and most of them live a life of mediocrity and acceptance.
Keep asking this question: What am I doing, every day, when no one is watching?
If the answer to that question is worthwhile, then you know that you are on the right path. If you are ashamed of your answer, then know that you are wasting your potential and throwing away your destiny.
