There are people in your life that without them you might not be where you are at the moment. This is super essential to maintain a circle of quality friends because they make an influence on your life. That impact could stay longer in your existence and the benefits would make a significant difference.
Most times it's not only humans that can impact one's life, the environment matters, and the financial aspect does too, and can play a huge significant role in developing people's lives. Believe it or not, when it's only humans that can influence one's life, there's a level perhaps a stage it gets to and would require such individuals to step away from that environment.
There are motives behind every action one takes. People can influence you and still, you don't follow in their footsteps because you're building yourself by yourself. Knowing what is beneficial for your growth! This comes when you have almost figured yourself out. One can even create opportunities irrespective of the environment they found themselves in.
If you ever find yourself in the circle of great friends that wants to see you improve your life then you are indeed so lucky and blessed to have such company around you. There are folks in your life that aren't meant to be there but for now, they are around till circumstances take them away from you.
Life would never give you numerous advantages, it will always throw detriments and challenges. In this case, it creates space to assimilate the potential impact of your colleagues and friends to determine their worth and value. In essence, you can weigh who is important for your growth and who isn't.
An individual can't think that they can make big moves in their lives without the support of friends, strangers, and even foes. Today, I will be calling out those that have been vital to my growth and also those that didn't know that they made quite an impact on me. Unfortunately, most of them aren't on Hive Blockchain! They are in the real world outside this platform. They have been helpmeet during various moments. I would start by acknowledging [Mr. Bob().
Mr. Bob is a Banker. He works for Zenith Bank.
During my days in university, particularly that period of SIWES (Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme). I don't know how to begin submitting a resume that wasn't complete lol... which company or firm would accept that right? Imagine a premature accountant going to financial institutions to get a practice Job for 4 months. What a future disappointment and humiliation! He didn't allow me to pass through those processes at all.
We met as friends usually in our favorite spot and then one thing led to another and I asked him for support because I do not know where to even begin at all. He smiled because he watched me reduce myself to nothing! He said and I quote, "Tomorrow come and see me at work" and I was like 'just that?' ...my face was tainted with curiosity. He just nodded in affirmation and we continued conversations outside that topic.
Bla bla bla, the next day he directed me to meet someone in the office and that was how I began learning the practical basis of accounting, bank reconciliation statements, and balance sheets. And at the end of that few months, I was able to give a tangible explanation of my Siwes experience. All thanks to him and our friendship will stand the taste of time regardless of this support that was rendered, he is a caring and nice person, with an awesome personality.
I also want to use this opportunity to appreciate my good colleague 'Miss Oluchi', she is a darling and a very good friend to me. We went to the same secondary school together, graduated almost the same time, separated, and came back together again at University. I was surprised to see that she chose the same university I was in but when I found out it was during my second year and she was just graduating. I was hoping not to see her but eventually, life brought us back together again when she was looking for a house to stay. I gave her space in my hostel and ever since then we have connected on a different level.
On a very good day, we were having conversations and I told her about my admission that wasn't coming forth and how I have tried to grab the opportunity when it presented itself. She asked questions about the topic and I told her that all the areas she is asking from have been thoroughly checked and the option I had was to begin tutorial classes for ICAN. She raised her eyebrows in amazement and said " I was about to tell you to enroll for classes in ICAN ".
I was glad she had my best interest in mind and I told her that I would love to make inquiries about it then she said that she has a friend that we have to meet. Her friend was at that moment studying for ICAN examinations and that was the first step. We met her and she directed us to the senior lecturer and from there to the main person to ask and this is how I began my ICAN tutorial.
I would love to continue but this would be super lengthy and tiring to read. Shoutout to Tengolotodo for giving me inspiration regarding my business. I remember vividly how we often spoke about raising the bar relating to my real estate business. Little did he know that I was pushed by those things he said knowing so well that my zeal and motivation tripled. I still appreciate that concern cause it meant the world to me!
In essence, the circle of friends you have around you can determine the volume of impact and influence it has on you. And this is vital for the growth of an individual in all ramifications of life. Not only is it vital to one's growth maybe to an aspect of being successful in business areas, but it can also give an individual a sense of belonging in return providing emotional support and this can trigger a self-esteem boost and could switch a fresh perspective.
