Hi Everyone
A few days ago I made a delicious chicken sandwich using some milk dough I had left over from making flatbread pizza and garlic bread.
This dough is made with milk and eggs instead of water. It makes some beautifully fluffy ,spongey bread.
Ok so now that we have a deliciously fluffy milky bun we need some chicken to add to it.
We are going to use this mixture of spices to season our chicken.
I mixed some roasted garlic mayo with some chopped tomatoes.
This is going to go one side of our bun and pesto will go on the other side of the bun.
I used buttermilk to coat the chicken fillet before adding the spices.
After dipping in the buttermilk its into our seasoning until each piece is nicely coated.
Fry in some oil until crisp and golden.
Make sure to toast each side of the bun lightly...
Then we add our pesto and garlic and tomato mayonnaise
Time to add the chicken to the bun...
Add a slice of Emmental cheese...
A little lettuce....
And viola...we have a VERY tasty buttermilk chicken emmental and pesto sandwich...
See how nice and fluffy this milk dough bun turned out?
This was hands down the tastiest sandwich I have ever made...looking at the pictures kind of makes me want to go make another one right now..... :)
