The holy month of Ramadan was the ninth month of the islamic calendar and the time when many muslims around the world fasted during the day for 29-30 days. The islamic calendar is lunar and Ramadan falls at a much earlier time each year.
The muslims who joined ramadhan did not eat or drink anything at noon, had one meal (sahur) just before dawn and another (' break the fast ') after sunset. The end of Ramadan is marked with 'eid ', the fast-breaking festival. Special festival food was eaten during the festival, the first day of lunch for a month.
Ramadan 2019 is estimated to start about May 6 and fasting will last more than 18 hours on several days, making it more important to maintain your health if you fast. While fasting is mandatory for all healthy muslims (not children), there are exceptions for those who are sick or whose health can be affected by fasts, for example, pregnant or laceating women and diabetics.
Then, what are some other important intake when breaking fasting? When the first break of the fast, find plenty of liquids, low fat foods, rich liquid, and nutritious food.
