One of the most beautiful things you can enjoy in Topes de Collantes is its flora and fauna, today I would like to stop here and make a warning act. Why? Well, because repeatedly the inhabitants of this place confessed to me that this year in particular the weather is different, the usual rains and the microclimate that allows life up here to be different is disappearing. Why is this, I asked? And they all answered me that, climate change, which left me very sad and reflecting on what we can do about it. So I share these flowers as a consolation and small sample of what we can lose if we do not do something immediately, although I am not very sure about it, because ultimately the most affected in the end would be ourselves, because nature in its immense wisdom will always bloom again.

Una de las cosas más bonitas que se puede disfrutar en Topes de Collantes, es su flora y fauna, hoy me gustaría detenerme en ello y hacer un acto de advertencia. ¿Por qué? Pues porque reiteradamente los pobladores de este lugar me confesaron que este año en particular el clima está diferente, las acostumbradas lluvias y el microclima que permite que la vida aquí arriba sea diferente está desapareciendo. ¿A qué se debe esto, pregunte? Y todos me respondieron que, al cambio climático, cosa que me dejó muy triste y reflexionando sobre qué podemos hacer al respecto. Así que comparto estas flores a modo de consuelo y pequeña muestra de lo que podemos perder si no hacemos algo inmediatamente, aunque no estoy muy segura de ello, porque en definitiva los más afectados al final seriamos nosotros mismos, porque la naturaleza en su inmensa sabiduría siempre volverá a florecer.
