CAVE SLUG💫 Social Media SPT

Un saludo a todos los que integran esta especial comunidad 🙂, espero se encuentren excelente en estas fechas decembrinas. Para este nuevo concurso de Social Media escogí una carta que quise transformar a un estilo más caricaturesco y con algo más de expresión, eligiendo la CAVE SLUG de Splinterlands para recrear a este estilo, dibujando a estas babosas algo más tiernas. El resultado me pareció hasta algo gracioso por las expresiones que quise representar en ellas; una babosa terrorífica y carnívora deborando a su cena, y la otra algo sorprendida por la ferocidad de su compañera. De igual forma, realice una ambientación natural de su hábitat un poco más amigable en pleno atardecer con la compañía de las lindas y luminosas luciérnagas. Greetings to all of you who are part of this special community 🙂 I hope you are feeling great during this holiday season. For this new Social Media contest I chose a card that I wanted to transform to a more cartoonish style and with a little more expression, choosing the CAVE SLUG from Splinterlands to recreate this style, drawing these slugs a little more tender. The result seemed to me even a little funny because of the expressions I wanted to represent in them; a terrifying and carnivorous slug devouring its dinner, and the other a little surprised by the ferocity of its companion. In the same way, I made a natural setting of their habitat a little more friendly in the middle of the sunset with the company of the beautiful and luminous fireflies. Inicialmente realice el boceto para plasmar en si lo que quería representar de las babosas de cueva utilizando el mismo Lápiz Grafito que aplicó para la realización de los bocetos, en el cual me tomé un tiempo pensando agregarle muchos detalles al hábitat de las babosas de cueva. Luego, utilizando el boceto guía realice en otra capa el delineado en limpio en el cual aplique el mismo pincel Rotulador Fuerte para tener un delineado muy definido, borrando cada trazo sobresaliente y dando forma a pequeños detalles al final y comienzo de cada trazo.

Initially I made the sketch to capture what I wanted to represent of the cave slugs using the same Graphite Pencil that I applied for the realization of the sketches, in which I took some time thinking about adding many details to the habitat of the cave slugs. Then, using the sketch guide I made in another layer the clean outline in which I applied the same Strong Marker brush to have a very defined outline, erasing each outstanding stroke and giving shape to small details at the end and beginning of each stroke.

Ya luego para esta fase del dibujo aplique las capas de colores, una para los personajes de la escena utilizando colores base sólidos y saturados, y otros menos saturados y saturados pero en otra capa para el fondo o ambiente de las babosas. Después, pase a unir estar dos capas para luego crear la capa de sombreado y contraste para darle la profundidad y volúmen a la diferentes partes, haciendo doble sombreado en algunas partes de las figuras como lo hice con los hongos.

Then for this phase of the drawing I applied the color layers, one for the characters of the scene using solid and saturated base colors, and others less saturated and saturated but in another layer for the background or environment of the slugs. Afterwards, merge these two layers and then create the shading and contrast layer to give depth and volume to the different parts, making double shading in some parts of the figures as I did with the mushrooms.

Para la parte final de esta representación, aplique una capa de brillo para darle la luminosidad proveniente del sol a la babosas y al hábitat como tal. Por otra parte, no conforme con el pasto tan plano, utilice un pincel de Hierva Juncia Color para darle volumen y profundidad al mismo tiempo. Realmente me gustó el resultado que le dio este pincel al pasto, y en cuanto a la parte de tierra quise aplicarle algo de destellos por los rayos de luz provenientes del sol del atardecer que se reflejan en ciertos granos de la misma arena. Luego reforce con otra capa de brillo utilizando un pincel Aerógrafo Normal para resaltar un poco más algunas áreas con brillos en los cuerpos del dibujo, y finalmente con toques aleatorios graduando el grosor del pincel coloque destellos de luz para representar a la luminosas luciérnagas. Espero les haya gustado tanto como disfrute hacer este arte.😊

For the final part of this rendering, apply a layer of gloss to give the slugs and the habitat as such the luminosity coming from the sun. On the other hand, not satisfied with the flat grass, I used a brush of Hierva Juncia Color to give it volume and depth at the same time. I really liked the result that this brush gave to the grass, and as for the ground part I wanted to apply some sparkles due to the rays of light coming from the evening sun that reflect on certain grains of the sand itself. Then I reinforced with another layer of glitter using a Normal Airbrush to highlight a little more some areas with glitter in the bodies of the drawing, and finally with random touches graduating the thickness of the brush I placed flashes of light to represent the luminous fireflies.
