¡Muy buenos días comunidad! 🌞Espero que estén teniendo una excelente mañana y mis mejores deseos para el día que comienza. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes este trabajo que realice representando al gran Gemino. En esta ocasión, decidí hacer a este amiguito mientras da un paseo por el bosque en el que habita, rodeado de la belleza natural que lo acompaña en su día a día. Desde el primer trazo quise representar con fidelidad la esencia base de Gemino, manteniendo sus rasgos únicos, su expresión serena y esa armonía que transmite solo con estar presente. Me di cuenta que no había dibujado a Gemino con su caparazón adornado con gemas púrpuras. Trabajar en su caparazón fue particularmente gratificante, cuando cada sección del mismo con la iluminación fue tomando profundidad y el dar forma a cada gema fue entretenido por la paleta de lilas y rosas que use así como también azules, jugando con los reflejos para lograr esa sensación cristalina y luminosa que lo distingue. También me enfoqué en darle textura a su piel anaranjada, resaltando sus detalles con este pincel texturizado que me gusta mucho y que he aplicado en las ultimas representaciones que he dibujado.

Very good morning community! 🌞I hope you are having a great morning and my best wishes for the day ahead. Today I want to share with you this work I made representing the great Gemino. On this occasion, I decided to make this little friend while he takes a walk through the forest where he lives, surrounded by the natural beauty that accompanies him in his day to day. From the first stroke I wanted to faithfully represent Gemino's basic essence, keeping his unique features, his serene expression and that harmony he transmits just by being present. I realized that I had not drawn Gemino with his shell adorned with purple gems. Working on his shell was particularly gratifying, as each section of it with the lighting took on depth and the shaping of each gem was entertaining because of the palette of lilacs and pinks I used as well as blues, playing with the reflections to achieve that crystalline and luminous sensation that distinguishes him. I also focused on giving texture to his orange skin, highlighting his details with this textured brush that I like a lot and that I have applied in the last representations I have drawn.

Una vez definido los bocetos terminando con líneas limpias, pasé al trabajo de color. Primero creé varias capas para diferenciar el caparazón, la piel y el fondo, y me dediqué a la piel de Gemino. Aquí use pinceles suaves y luego agregue un poco de pinceles con texturas, que me permitieron simular el aspecto natural y detallado sin perder la calidez del tono anaranjado. Trabajé bastante con las luces y sombras, generando volumen en las extremidades, el cuello y sobre todo en el rostro. Me enfoqué en el caparazón usando pinceles texturizados, jugando con distintas opacidades para lograr el efecto de gemas incrustadas. Utilicé tonos púrpura, azul y magenta, integrándolos con sombreados suaves para lograr profundidad.

Once the sketches were defined and finished with clean lines, I moved on to the color work. First I created several layers to differentiate the shell, the skin and the background, and then I worked on Gemino's skin. Here I used soft brushes and then added some textured brushes, which allowed me to simulate the natural, detailed look without losing the warmth of the orange tone. I worked a lot with the lights and shadows, generating volume in the extremities, neck and especially in the face. I focused on the shell using textured brushes, playing with different opacities to achieve the effect of embedded gems. I used purple, blue and magenta tones, integrating them with soft shading to achieve depth.

El fondo fue entretenido de realizar, quería que el bosque se sintiera vivo pero no sobrecargado. Utilicé verdes con distintas saturaciones, pinceles de hojas para la vegetación más lejana, y pinceles más definidos para los elementos cercanos, como la hierba. Los rayos de luz fueron una adición final que me ayudaron a integrar a Gemino en su entorno, resaltando su figura sin aislarlo del paisaje.

The background was fun to create, I wanted the forest to feel alive but not overloaded. I used greens with different saturations, leaf brushes for the more distant vegetation, and more defined brushes for the nearby elements, such as the grass. The rays of light were a final addition that helped me integrate Gemino into his environment, highlighting his figure without isolating him from the landscape.

Quedé mas feliz con el resultado final. Los pinceles texturizados me ayudaron muchísimo a conseguir el efecto deseado tanto en el caparazón como en la piel. También el uso de capas para iluminar y saturar fue fundamental para darle vida y energía al entorno, y a este hermoso amiguito que ahora camina con tranquilidad por su bosque. I was happier with the final result. The textured brushes helped me a lot to achieve the desired effect on both the shell and the fur. Also the use of layers to illuminate and saturate was fundamental to give life and energy to the environment, and to this beautiful little friend that now walks calmly through his forest.
