Punta del Este beer marinating appetizers and an excellent dinner in Murcia. #Beersaturday (ENG-ESP)

After leaving work and after a few hours of rest at the hotel, my coworker and I went for a walk in the center of the city, in the area near the cathedral of Murcia. The heat in this city at this time of the year is very intense and so after visiting the cathedral square we returned to the Plaza de las Flores where there are several places where you can enjoy a good beer and some good Spanish tapas.

Once we arrived at the Plaza de las Flores, based on past experience we went to the Mesón de Murcia, which has a formidable terrace where you can enjoy the spectacular Spanish gastronomy and also an important variety of beers during the summer months.

Among the different Spanish beers that were offered to us and also some Belgian beers, I chose a toasted beer that I had never tasted before, which is Punta Este, the Tostada beer from the Estrella Levante brewery.

As you can see in the image, this beer has a bright amber color. The taste is a beer that I liked very much to accompany the pre-dinner aperitif, as it has a good balance between the sweetness of the roasted malt and the bitterness of the hops. It is also a beer with a low alcohol content (5.4% v/v) for a roasted beer.

Since it was already dinner time and this beer was very tasty, finally my co-worker and I stayed for dinner on the same terrace where I consumed two more Punta del Esté beers to accompany the following dishes that went very well with the beer.

After dinner, we went back to the hotel and with the three toasted beers I managed to sleep the whole night. Ha, ha, ha, ha

If one day you are in the city of Murcia, do not hesitate to go to the Plaza de la Flores and enjoy a Punta del Este beer at Mesón de Murcia.

Tras salir de trabajar y tras unas horas de descanso en el hotel, mi compañero de trabajo y yo nos fuimos a pasear por el centro de la ciudad, en la zona cercana a la catedral de Murcia. El calor en esta ciudad en esta época del año es muy intenso y por ello tras visitar la plaza de la catedral regresamos a la plaza de las flores donde hay varios locales donde uno puede disfrutar de una buena cerveza y de unas buenas tapas españolas.

Una vez llegamos a la plaza de las flores, por experiencias pasadas nos fuimos al Mesón de Murcia que dispone en estos meses de verano de una formidable terraza donde disfrutar de la espectacular gastronomía española y también de una variedad importante de cervezas.

Entre las distintas cervezas españolas que nos ofrecieron y también algunas cervezas belgas, yo escogí una cerveza tostada que nunca había probado que es Punta Este que es la cerveza Tostada de la cervecera Estrella Levante.

Como se puede ver en la imagen, esta cerveza presenta un color ámbar brillante. Al sabor es una cerveza que me gustó mucho para acompañar al aperitivo previo a la cena, ya que tiene un buen equilibrio entre el dulzor de la malta tostada y el amargor del lúpulo. A su vez, es una cerveza con baja graduación alcohólica (5.4% v/v) para ser una cerveza tostada.

Debido a que ya nos dio la hora de cenar y estaba muy rica esta cerveza, finalmente nos quedamos mi compañero de trabajo y yo a cenar en la misma terraza donde consumí otras dos cervezas Punta del Esté acompañando a los siguientes platos que combinaban muy bien con la cerveza.

Tras la cena, nos fuimos de nuevo al hotel y yo con las tres cervezas tostadas conseguí dormir del tirón toda la noche. 😂😂😂

Si un día están en la ciudad de Murcia, no duden en ir a la Plaza de la Flores y disfrutar de una cerveza Punta del Este en el Mesón de Murcia.
