An ad hoc visit and walk in Mosman streets and waterfront : September 25 2026
Driving duties today to take my wife to the doctor. Quick check and certificate needed after fall and a banged head on Wednesday. Got a nice sunny day for a walk around the Mosman streets while the appointment happened
From the surgery garden a strelitzia to remind me of army days. Season stretches out quite long
Yellow gazanias - talked shout them this week. At our old place the crimson rosella would pick a leaf, roll it up with its tongue and eat
Walked a few blocks which still have small cottages on them with a mix of styles. Clivia flowers in foreground and Latin style

Doc was running late - a bit of a wait. We went for coffee on the water. Landed up at the marina on the Spit Bridge.
Now know what the area is called Warringah. The aboriginal word for Middle Harbour is Warringa - view to the Mosman side

Stopped at one shopping centre to check early availability of an Aldi special due tomorrow. None yet. Bought sushi and katsu chicken for lunch at home. Was yum. Good idea..
Back home for what the doctor ordered - rest, rest, rest. I need the rest too as my knee is sore after the 17k steps the day before.
Cooked pizza for dinner. Stayed up late for markets open - got a weekly option to check prior to expiry. Did close it at a profit leaving nothing open to distrub the night
