First day since my wife broke her toe. We have a once a month lunch with her old work colleagues at Sydney Rowing Club in Abbotsford. The plan had been to use train and ferry to get there. No chance my wife could walk the steps needed - took the car - driver - me. One beer me

Was a cold windy day - snowing in the mountains a bit early. Too cold to do photos outside - borrowing one taken two years ago. We had a good lunch. Stories. Recollections. An old photo album.

Was invited to drinks with a collection of uranium people - nicknamed uTwits - including CEO of a uranium company I have shares in. Got a friend coming over for dinner so she and my wife can do Strata things for the block. Normally I cook. My wife gave me an idea for what she would cook so I could go

Did my prep - dressed and seaosoned the chicken - under 10 minutes

Then put up a chicken stock pot with the carcass. Caught the train into the city - two Thursdays in a row
