Nap time gave me the chance to go walking. Lily time from the neighbouring gardens
Idea was to walk the opposite side of Blackutt Creek from last walk. Native violet for my granddaughter Violette
Saw the Sydney Water sign at the start of the track. This area may be affected by sewerage overflow. NSS - track somewhat blocked by the Environmental services trucks. Can smell the piss. What is the pump doing - pumping the sewerage overflow down the creek. Smell it!!
Crossed Blacbutt Creek to walk up to Keparra Steet - not walked all the way up

Track sign out the other side. Feels like ore than 250 metres to get back to the road
Walked a long slice below the houses. Saw a few flannel flowers
Hypericum on tha way back - no signs of orchids. This segment was reduction burned a few months ago - orchids next year?
A small flash of pink - trigger flowers. They clearly like a burn disruption
Back to the track below - maybe a yellow rush lily like I saw in Worrigee the other day
Back to the main track - bonnet orchid budding. Leaf is quite close to flower spike

Two buds. The test is to find where the leaves are. This is an orchid that will throw a spike away from the main site

Now to part two - are there any hyacinth orchids? Clues. A few bracts standing tall
