How timely this is! My sister was cremated last night. Unlike sweet, lucky Lablab, she did not go peacefully in her sleep. Likewise, we've had to put down our loyal pets who refused to give up the ghost

As always, it's all good. Blazing - I feel the heat! - but this is soothing: The future is being written in the imaginations of beings of love and light. Nothing will ever be the same again. My sister

Thought I might give up writing, then saw the prompt "spade," which is eerily fitting. Ok. Who has ever convinced me to shut up and let go of the conceit that I should write, and anyone should

My sister died today. When do the tears run dry, when do we manage to sleep and how did I ever imagine I was going to be ok when this day came. Lori. Lori. How do we move on? I can't remember. All such

Amazing! This is SO COOL!!!

This is only your second attempt at "haibun," and you've produced this masterpiece? You never cease to amaze me. The haiku usually ends the poem as a sort of whispery and insightful postscript
