Macrolepiota Procera

Parasol mushroom is well known & very tasty mushroom. I've been picking it for years now. It is very easy to spot from far distance cause of its size & height. It is one of the biggest mushrooms. To me it tastes similarly to the button mushrooms only more intensive & tastier. It is a real delicacy.

I'm now really almost every time taking my camera into the forest when hunting mushrooms. I really enjoy it! It is something I used to do more often before & now doing it again. You can expect much more shots of different varieties of fungi in the next posts...

The upper shots I made with Nikon Z6 & Sigma 105 mm DG Macro HSM. For the self-portrait below I used the older Nikon D800 & Nikon AF Nikkor 35-70 mm lens.
